The sounds coming from the Florence home of 16-year-old Kacie are very sweet these days. Kacie, who has Hodgkin’s lymphoma, began playing the clarinet at school in the sixth grade. Music has been essential to Kacie during her illness; she feels restored and uplifted while playing the clarinet. For her wish, Kacie asked for a clarinet of her own: a first-class version crafted in France. Kacie shared that her wish is “forever” – she can create new melodies and memories every day. The clarinet will play an important role in Kacie’s future: she plans to study medicine and music in college. The Foundation asked Kacie to share the joy of her wish with guests at Wish Night in the Park, a Make-A-Wish special event held in Western Massachusetts. Kacie wowed and uplifted the audience with her musical talent! Wish Volunteers: Dawn Presz and Jessica Gilbert | ||
