Macy's helps Massachusetts wish child dress for success

Type:  Announcements

On Saturday, March 27th, 13-year-old Justine took the stage at the InterContinental Boston to share the story of her wish. The 2010 Make-A-Wish Gala shined the spotlight on the courageous tales of Justine and other wish children.

When Justine stepped on to the podium, she was the very picture of grace – thanks to the generosity of Macy’s and the style advice of a local news reporter.  Liz Brunner of WCVB-TV, who served as the Gala’s Master of Ceremonies, recently helped Justine select a special outfit for the event.  Macy’s, a Foundation supporter since 2003, donated the outfit.

After Justine made her style selection, she toured the WCVB-TV studio and posed for photos with Liz Brunner and Charlotte Beattie, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation.  “We are so grateful to Macy’s, Liz Brunner, and WCVB-TV for giving Justine a day of fun and fashion,” said Beattie.  “She will carry the joy from this experience in her heart!”
