Team Make-A-Wish ready to run Falmouth Road Race

As a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Heather Foley Ebels has waved her magic wand to help grant 13 children’s wishes in 10 years. But this summer, she has swapped her wand for running sneakers – as a proud member of “Team Make-A-Wish.” On Sunday, August 15th, Heather will join 15 other dedicated individuals to run the 38th Annual CIGNA Falmouth Road Race to support children’s wishes. Each runner has pledged to raise at least $850 by collecting donations from friends and supporters. While she is a seasoned wish-granting volunteer, Heather is a novice runner. She entered a 10K race in July in preparation for the Falmouth Road Race and has been training vigorously throughout the summer. Her motivation is simple: “I have witnessed firsthand the impact a wish has on a child. I treasure every opportunity to bring wish children unexpected joy!” You can help the members of “Team Make-A-Wish” cross the finish line.
