Believe in the magic of a wish - and in the spirit of the season - by writing to Santa Claus through the Macy's Believe program. Bring your letter (stamped and addressed to Santa at the North Pole) to any Macy's and drop it in the special letterbox. For each letter received, Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, up to $1 million. While all letters go to the North Pole, your support stays in our community. Every letter delivered to a Macy's in Massachusetts and Rhode Island will support children in our two states. Many Ways to "Believe"- Individuals of All Ages:

Virginia O’Hanlon was 8 years old in 1897 when she wrote a letter to her local newspaper editor asking if there was really a Santa Claus. Her touching story is the inspiration for the Believe campaign.
When you purchase a Yes, Virginia animated DVD or storybook at Macy's, the department store will donate 10 percent of the purchase price to the Foundation.

Stay tuned for the animated special, Yes Virginia, which airs on CBS, Friday, December 17th, at 8 p.m. Wish child Taylor, 11, who wished to be an actress, voices a character in the movie!
