Wish children from Massachusetts and Rhode Island had the chance to become “princesses” last month, thanks to the generosity of our community. Two royal events – a tea party and a princess makeover day – served as special "perks" that enhanced our children's wishes.

Princess Tea Party

On December 8th, tea was served with a magical flourish at a “Princess Tea Party” hosted at Boston’s Taj Hotel. Children who have wished to visit Walt Disney World® were invited to attend the tea party as honored guests. Wearing costume tiaras and gowns, the children eagerly peered through the hotel’s window to await the carriage that brought a special guest: Cinderella!

The star of “Disney On Ice presents Princess Classics” hugged and posed for pictures with each of the girls and their families. Loren Galler Rabinowitz, Miss Massachusetts 2010, also joined our wish children for tea and photos.

The Foundation thanks Feld Entertainment, the Taj Hotel, TD Garden, and Loren Galler Rabinowitz for creating this magical day for our wish children!

Princess Makeover Day

The enchantment continued in Rhode Island on December 28th, when two wish children attended a special performance of “Disney On Ice.” Before the show, 5-year-old JiJi and 4-year-old Hailey received “princess makeovers” at Luminous Salon in Providence. Their “royal treatments” included hair styling, make-up, and manicures.

The little girls excitedly dreamed about their upcoming Disney adventures as they watched their favorite princesses glide across the ice during the show. The Foundation thanks Feld Entertainment and Luminous Salon for transforming our wish children into princesses!
