Katie’s Wishing Flowers

Fourteen-year-old Katie Bresnahan began making Wishing Flowers in June 2011, crafting colorful ID lanyards out of recycled IV med-caps. All proceeds from the sale of Wishing Flowers support the granting of wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions through the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Since sales began, Katie has raised over $10,000 and is well on her way to sponsoring two children's wishes through her fundraising efforts.
